DAN MARTIN

Beginning his musical journey as a humble saxophone player in Primary School, Dan is now a proficient multi-instrumentalist with over 16 years experience in performing and teaching on a range of instruments including saxophone, flute, clarinet and keyboard. He has been involved in a diverse range of musical experiences including performing in a range of pop, funk, salsa and traditional concert bands, producing original electronic music, studying jazz at the Victorian College of the Arts and being the Assistant Conductor of the Australian Youth Band. These musical ventures have allowed him the opportunity to perform not only right across Australia but also touring to countries including Canada, North America, New Zealand, South Korea and China. Daniel currently enjoys teaching instrumental and classroom music at Marymede Catholic College as well as playing pop Saxophone and DJing at cooperate functions across Melbourne.

Dan proudly plays a Temby Custom Alto Saxophone, which he finds is perfect for creating the big bright pop sound he requires for the contemporary music scene.
